Connections Seminar - Where assessment practice and social justice meet: Class participation strategies in the Faculty of Law
Presenter: Dr Dominic Fitzsimmons and Julian Laurens, Faculty of Law
Assessment is often focussed primarily on individual achievement, rather than how it can be used to build the capacity of students as just and active participants in society. In this seminar we will look at how the Law Faculty brings together two of its foundational values: social justice as both goal and practice, and class participation as integral to an effective assessment strategy.
