UNSW Strategic Development Grants
As part of the annual Faculty Review of Learning and Teaching (FRLT) process, the FRLT Review Panel makes strategic funding available to Faculties to support institutional and Faculty priorities in learning, teaching and curriculum development.
Each Faculty provides a prioritised compendium of applications for Strategic Learning and Teaching Development Funding (SLTDF) to support learning and teaching development projects that align with institutional and faculty priorities, as outlined in individual Faculty Learning and Teaching Enhancement Plans.
The FRLT Review Panel reviews these applications, and allocates funding accordingly.
For 2011, a total of $2 million in SLTDF was allocated to Faculties, with continued salaries support for the Academic Co-ordinators for Learning and Teaching (or L&T Fellows) and $50,000 allocated to each Faculty to support the improvement and development of quality assessment practices.
