Presented by Professor Julie Cogin, Director, AGSM and Deputy Dean, UNSW Business School
In 2014 the Australian Graduate School of Management (AGSM) embarked on a journey of digitisation. This included the elimination of paper based course materials and the adoption of iBook technologies across all small and large programs. The changes have simplified the production and distribution process as well as enhanced the class room experience through digital interactive activities and utilisation of various gamification tools. Complementing these steps, in 2015 the AGSM launched MBAX which is a fully on-line degree that has enlarged the market as well as provided new flexible learning opportunities for existing students.
While there are multiple indicators which point to the success of these initiatives there have also been a number of obstacles and learnings gained along the way.
In this workshop, Professor Julie Cogin (Director of the AGSM and Deputy Dean UNSW Business School) will cover the drivers of change, how AGSM actually transformed and the lessons from change. Julie will also share her view on the challenges that remain before the AGSM fully transforms its business into one that is at the forefront of Digital Education.
