Are you interested in applying for a national teaching award?
Australian Awards for University Teaching (AAUT) are designed to recognise quality teaching practice and outstanding contributions to student learning. One category of awards are Citations for outstanding contributions to Student Learning which are awarded to academic, general, and sessional staff and institutional associates who have made significant contributions to student learning in a specific area, over a sustained period of no less than three years.
If you are interested in applying for a Citation either now or in the next few years come along to the information session to be facilitated by Professor Chris Tisdell, Faculty of Science and Kristin Turnbull from the Pro Vice-Chancellor (Education) Portfolio. The session will explore what’s involved in putting together a strong application and the sorts of evidence you need to make your case stand out.
More information around the awards can be found on the Universities Australia website.
