    Connections Seminar: The Essentials of Class Participation

    Class participation is a key element of good teaching and learning.

    It makes classes enjoyable for students, and it enables teachers to gauge how much their students have understood. All students want to participate but it can be harder for some than others. This seminar will discuss why we should use class participation and how we can make it work for all students.

    This presentation aligns with the following UNSW Communities of Practice 'Flipped Learning.' More information can be found here.


    About Cathy

    Cathy SherryCathy Sherry is a leading Australian expert on strata and community title. She provides advice to government and the private sector on collectively-owned property, both nationally and internationally. Cathy is the recipient of a Vice Chancellor's Award for Teaching Excellence and a NSW Department of Training and Education and Australian College of Educators' Award. She was named Academic of the Year at the Lawyers Weekly Women in Law Awards in 2017. Read more here...
