June UNFED meeting: Electronic assessment

Hosted by Arts & Social Sciences

Facilitators - Lois Cleal and Cath Ellis

Topic - Implementing Electronic Assessment in A&SS
What are the version history/control implications for day-to-day learning and teaching business? The Academic Quality Committee has decided that from S1 2016, all student assessment that can be submitted electronically should be submitted electronically. While we might get quite easy and quick acceptance of this idea, the implications of this in practice are pretty significant. We will explore some of the consequences of this decision and showcase some of the business optimisation work that has already been conducted in the Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences to prepare for it.

UNFED is a network for Educational Developers, Educational Technologists and others interested in developing teaching and learning within UNSW - please pass on this invitation to your faculty colleagues who might be interested in this topic.

Morven Brown, Room 310 (Map ref C20)

Light lunch will be provided. To assist with catering, please RSVP to Lois Cleal (lois.cleal@unsw.edu.au) by Monday 22nd June.
