Presented by Dr Lorenzo Vigentini and Dr Negin Mirriahi, UNSW

Back to meetings

One of the most important dimensions of MOOCS is the ability to use the space as an experimental lab to test ideas and hypotheses about pedagogy, course design, teaching methods/approaches and student learning. A number of research question can be posed: some are general and focus on the effectiveness of the tools/methods used, some other are quite specific and are intended to understand in more details the learners and the learning process and therefore have an immediate effect upon the implementation. In this talk we will present a general approach to study what happens in MOOCs and how the design of MOOCs affects learning.
