Multidisciplinary Course Design Teams

An Inspired Learning Initiative

The Inspired Learning Initiative supports the establishment of well-defined and cross-functional Multidisciplinary Course Design Teams to assist in the digital uplift of the 600 fully online and blended courses.  These teams will consist of academic, faculty support and PVCE portfolio staff.  The initiative supplements existing expertise within the PVCE Portfolio through the engagement of educational developers, media developers, educational evaluators, educational technologists, learning designers, academic developers and data scientists.

The teams will:

  • Provide flexible options for students and staff with course delivery
  • Support significant digital uplift required in curricula 
  • Augment the Learning Analytics and Student Feedback Services for a data-driven approach to quality assurance
  • Support curriculum mapping activities and other Scientia Education Model initiatives
