  • Connections: Online Teaching: Teacher presence & sense of community.

Presented by Associate Professor Jihyun Lee, FASS

    Scientia Education Experience: Being Digital

In this session, Jihyun will share what worked and what did not work in the online teaching mode, based on her experiences with three student cohorts (N = 70 and 100 students) in 2019 and 2020. She will talk about some strategies before the Moodle opening date, at the beginning of the course, during the time when students prepare their assessments, mid-way through, and towards the end of the course. She will also talk about different strategies to enhance the sense of community during the fully online teaching.
