Community of Practice
If you are trying, or would like to try peer evaluation, review or assessment with your students, come along and share ideas with like-minded academics. At this meeting we will explore why peer evaluation is useful and see some examples of practice.
Peer evaluation (embracing review and assessment) engages students in the learning and teaching process and develops their capacity to reflect upon and critically evaluate their own learning and skill development. It supports the development of critical thinking, interpersonal and other skills, as well as enhancing understanding within the field of knowledge of a discipline.
For further information please contact facilitators Julian Cox (email@example.com) or Graeme Bushell (firstname.lastname@example.org). If you are interested in joining the group, but cannot attend this meeting, please email Julian or Graeme to register your interest.
