At UNSW, learning and teaching Awards, Grants and Fellowships are an important part of recognising the contributions of academic staff, and in promoting and supporting scholarly teaching, program excellence and initiatives that enhance learning.

What's New:

Office for Learning and Teaching (OLT)

In late 2011, the Office for Learning and Teaching (OLT) replaced the Australian Learning and Teaching Council (ALTC) and is being administered through the Department of Industry, Innovation, Science, Research and Tertiary Education. The OLT has funding of $50 million over four years to promote excellence in higher education learning and teaching. For more information and internal UNSW deadlines see our OLT page.

  • International award for COFA Online
    A video-based program helping teachers in 138 countries step into the virtual classroom, has earned its developers a prestigious International Award
  • 2011 VC Award recipients announced
    The 2011 Award Recipients for the Vice-Chancellor's Award for Teaching and Supervision Excellence have been announced. Guidelines for Application are available on the Human Resources website.
