eLearning for Students

eLearning or (TELT) Technology Enabled Learning and Teaching is the suite of technologies and applications that support learning and teaching at UNSW. The TELT platform is gradually being developed and reviewed to assess its suitability for the learning and teaching needs of the University. This page gives you quick links to the technologies you may need to use in your courses.

The TELT Services for Students Guide briefly introduces all the eLearning systems.

Learning Management Systems

In 2013–14 UNSW will move our LMS services from Blackboard to the Moodle learning management system. You may have courses in both systems during this transition. Use the links below to log in to the system advised by your lecturer.

Turnitin

Turnitin is a service used to check the originality of students' submitted work. You may be asked to submit your work to your teacher through Turnitin.

Lectopia/Echo360

Lectopia (soon to be re-named Echo360) is used to record many UNSW lectures, so that students can use them for revision, or catch up if circumstances prevent them attending.

UNSWTV

UNSWTV is a media management portal that enables content to be published to the University's iTunes U and YouTube presences. You can use UNSWTV to submit video assignments to Blackboard and Moodle.

Maple T.A.

Maple TA is a web-based testing system used by courses in the School of Mathematics and Statistics. For login and support, visit the UNSW: School of Mathematics and Statistics.

Acceptable Use Policy

Conditions cover the use of all UNSW information and communication technologies. Students should become familiar with this Policy. Penalties apply for breaches of the conditions of use and these are outlined in the Student Code Policy.
