Dr Diane Mayorga, Academic Mentor, Business

Dr Diane Mayorga, Academic Mentor, Business

Dr Diane Mayorga is a Senior Lecturer in the School of Accounting and has been teaching at the tertiary level for over 18 years. She completed her Graduate Diploma of Higher Education Learning and Teaching at UNSW. She has taught and course facilitated large undergraduate courses (up to 900 students), postgraduate seminars (up to 50 students), small active learning spaces (up to 25 students) and very small student cohorts (3 to 15 students). Diane also has substantial experience designing curriculum for a work integrated learning program as well as facilitating work integrated learning courses at different program levels. Her discipline research focused on judgement and decision making research in accounting and auditing contexts.

Now that Diane is an Education Focussed academic, her research interests are focused in work integrated learning as well as behavioural factors that impact students' learning. She has also received a UNSW Business Faculty Teaching Award for program design.
