Questions are those that appear in an assessment. Questions are added to Question Sets, which are then attached to a Test during the Deliver process. Academics can use the same question in multiple question sets. Whenever a question is edited, the updates will be automatically reflected in all other question sets where it has been added.

Export and Import Questions
Questions can be transferred between Moodle Quiz and Inspera by exporting them into the QTI 2.2 format.
Note: Not all question types are transferable between Moodle Quiz and Inspera. Below are the conversion mapping tables of Moodle question types exported to Inspera and vice versa. Question types that are not listed in the tables are not supported for exporting.
For more information on the list of questions and process to export from Moodle Quiz to Inspera and from Inspera to Moodle Quiz, check the guide in Inspera Staff Sharepoint.

Teaching staff can share their questions with others by inviting them as co-authors. When a question is shared with another author, this person gets full access to save new revisions to the question.
To share a question with another person:
- Click on the “Sharing with Users” icon in the top-right corner.
- Search the name or email of the person and click share. Check the "Notify via e-mail"-box for the user to receive an email notification.
Note: Inspera does not offer real-time collaboration on questions and question sets, which means that only one author can work on a question set at any given time. The question set has to be closed by the author before anyone else can modify it.
Preview Previous Version of a Question
Inspera question log events allow teaching staff to view dates and times the question is created, opened and revised. Staff can also preview the previous versions of a question.
How can I resolve my issue exporting questions from Moodle to Inspera?
The export of questions might fail due to unsupported question types in Inspera, resulting in various errors like "No question set found in file" or "No questions found in file."
For known issues during export please refer to this document - Export Moodle quiz to Inspera
Is there a maximum storage limit for an entire test in Inspera?
Inspera does not impose any hard limits on the storage capacity for an entire test. However, it is important to note that large data volumes may result in sluggish loading or no loading for candidates. This can be due to bandwidth limits on their end. To ensure optimal candidate experience, it is advisable to optimize file sizes and consider the potential impact of larger files on loading times.
I cannot edit a question and receive "Edited by someone else" error
Inspera does not offer real-time collaboration on questions and question sets. The user currently editing the test must close the question or question set before others can make modifications.
The correct way to exit a question is to click the boxes in the upper left corner. The correct way to exit a question set is to click on the house icon in the upper left corner.
If the staff exits a question/question set in another way, it will take up to 45 minutes before another author can make any changes to any question in the question set. This is to ensure no changes made by one author, get overridden by another.
