I am a Senior Lecturer, Scientia Education Academy Fellow and the Director of Education at UNSW Sydney with a background in Architecture and Design. I am also Director of UNSW Education Focussed Programs and a Senior Fellow of the Higher Education Academy (UK).
My teaching expertise focuses on student experience, particularly the role of student feedback, as well as studio teaching practice, and the first-year educational context. My education leadership experience extends to building capability and community amongst education focussed peers in higher education environments through mentorship and leadership programs. I have worked and studied in London, Cape Town and Sydney and received several international and national awards, citations, accreditation and fellowships for teaching and education excellence.
I have also developed Professional Development programs such as the Learning to Teach Online Project, created Art & Design studio focused Open Educational Resources (OER) and initiatives, and have led or project managed several competitive grants and multi-institutional projects such as OnTask.
