  • A new, fully online student work experience program: Advancing student academic and career success

A new, fully online student work experience program: Advancing student academic and career success

The importance of students being able to acquire employability skills and make connections between their academic studies and industry has always been the mission of Student Academic and Career Success (SACS).  In recent times, with the unprecedented  COVID-19 situation, this mission is further amplified and must be addressed through innovations in program development.

SACS explores how the micro, work experiences with industry partners might be wrapped around existing academic language and career development learning assistance programs at UNSW, by leveraging on technological solutions.

Collaborating with InsideSherpa (an organisation that is founded at UNSW), SACS has designed a new, micro, fully online, learning assistance program that will provide students a taste of working with employers. Students will work on real industry problems that are created by employers and industry partners such as Deloitte, Accenture. This fully online work experience will take approximately five to six hours to complete.

And did we say that it’s free for students!

    More details coming shortly.
