The focus of this Forum was on how blended learning strategies can be used to engage students an improve student learning.
Presenters shared their strategies for engaging students through communication and community building strategies, collaboration activities, authentic learning, flipping the classroom, reflective practice and using technology to enrich the student learning experience.

Workshops
The UNSW student panel workshop and discussion, facilitated by Assoc. Prof Richard Buckland explored student perspectives on: The value of blended learning, the changing role of technology in learning and teaching, perceptions of the flipped classroom approach, PowerPoint and technology lecturers should avoid using with students.
The students even provide insight into the most common reasons students skip lectures.
