The theme “Partners in Learning: Connecting Communities” explored how the UNSW community is shaping the future of higher education by putting students front and centre in learning and teaching.
The day focussed on the three streams of:
Being Courageous: Exploring new approaches to improve and expand learning experiences
Being Employable: Providing authentic learning experiences for workplace readiness
Being Inclusive: Designing and developing curriculum to support inclusion
The Forum’s Poster Gallery showcased 19 examples of effective teaching practice from academic and professional staff across the University and was also an opportunity for thought-provoking discussions and sharing ideas for improving student outcomes at UNSW. Congratulations to Shannan Maisey and Kim Lapere for their winning poster (as voted by Forum attendees), "Creating effective tutorials which students value".
