The Participants page allows teaching staff to view information about the users that are enrolled in their course such as their email address, role, and status. This page also lets instructors complete various actions including sending a Moodle message or an email to users in the course. This is particularly useful since the actions can be completed in bulk, while the search bar and filters let you quickly sort through the list of users available.
Features of the Participants page
The participants page provides a list of all enrolled course members, filter by initials or other parameters to narrow the list. Additionally, teaching staff can assign individual students to groups, begin communication with students or view specific details about participants.

Add a note
Notes can be added besides a student name for reminders or additional information teaching staff may want to store regarding a particular student.

Download / Export Participants list
Participants list can be downloaded if needed. Teaching staff can select the format of the file to download participants list data. Participants list data will have the first and last name, username (ZID), email address and groups that the participants belong to. Teaching staff can filter participants according to groups, names and other parameters before downloading.
