Echo360/LR + Support Pages

Asynchronous Recording Options

EchoVideo offers two methods, for you to record a video and share with your students.

  • Browser Based Capture - a simplified method of creating a recording using any computer.
  • Universal Capture Personal - Echo360 Universal Capture Personal(PCAP) is a cross-platform application and can be used to create and upload lecture recordings from your personal device.

H5P integration

It is now possible to use a Echo360 video for an interactive H5P activity. You only need to generate a link as you would do if you were sharing an Echo360 video.

  • Creating an Echo360 video link

Media Library

The EchoVideo Library page combines all of the media you have access to in one place. This includes videos, presentations and polls that you can view or work with, outside of a course.

Working with Slides and Presentations

Polling questions are used to engage your students in specific topics and concepts from the class.

Managing Polls and Interactive Media

Adding polls to a recorded lecture or an uploaded video creates Interactive Media, which can be shared with your students.

Mapping Zoom Meeting Recordings to Echo360 Sections

EchoVideo allows you to map your existing scheduled Zoom meetings into existing EchoVideo sections. Once mapped, EchoVideo automatically creates new classes in the selected EchoVideo section and automatically publishes the completed Zoom recordings there. If mapped to a section, your recordings will reside in BOTH your EchoVideo library as well as the targeted section.

Collections

EchoVideo Collections are designed to be collaborative spaces where specific people can view, post, or otherwise work with the media in the collection.

Uploading Media

You may want to upload a video or a presentation to your EchoVideo library, to edit it or hold it until you are ready to publish it to a class, share it with another user, or add it to a collection.
