Promotional Resources for Student Experience Survey (SES)

SES Banner

The Student Experience Survey (SES) gives students the opportunity to reflect on their time at UNSW and is one of the most important surveys they will be asked to complete. The survey aims to capture a holistic view of the student experience by asking students a range of questions about what it’s like to study their degree.

Encouraging our students to complete the QILT SES enables us to get a better understanding of their overall experience and to make informed decisions about the support and education we offer.

High level outcomes are available publicly on both the QILT website and the ComparED website so it helps future students make informed choices about where and what to study. The data also informs data in the Good Universities Guide.

Please support this important initiative by encouraging your students to complete using the resources below, and allow students to complete the SES during class time where possible.

The 2024 Student Experience Survey (SES) launches to students on 12 September and concludes 13 October.

Video

This video can be used to support the campaign. It features trusted lecturers chatting with students about the SES and why it's important to complete.

We recommend showcasing this video in your classes and lectures to encourage participation, and setting aside some time mid-way through the lesson for your students to complete. By setting aside this time during class, response rates will be higher, and students will have more time to provide thoughtful responses.

Signature

Please use the signature banner during the open of the survey campaign (12 September - 13 October). The signature will link directly to the information page for students on the Current Students website.
