Your help needed: The Student Experience Survey opens 5 September!
UNSW is participating in the national Student Experience Survey (SES) conducted by the Social Research Centre, commissioned by the Australian Government.
Results from the SES inform key decisions within UNSW at the program, faculty and overall university level. High-level outcomes are made available publicly on the ComparED website, and national ratings are included in The Good Universities Guide, Australia’s most trusted resource on higher education.
We need your help supporting this important research by encouraging your students to complete the survey.
Students will receive an email from SRC to their UNSW email, or they can access the survey by visiting Moodle and following the prompts. All responses are confidential.
On completion of the survey, students will be entered into a weekly draw for the chance to win a prize. Terms and conditions apply.
Please note, this year, only first and final-year coursework students, at both undergraduate & postgraduate levels, are invited to participate in the SES. Middle-year students and those in the very first term/semester of study will not receive the survey link from the SRC.
Resources for staff
Resources for teaching staff can be accessed via the SES resources page. We recommend showing the in-class slides and video mid-way through your class, when most students are in attendance, to achieve the best response rate. If you have questions, please reach out to [email protected].
The Student Experience Survey will close on 8 October 2023.
