The Immersive Team continues to engage with academics and a wide array of use-cases. There are many smaller or older projects that had their time but still have value for those wanting to know the history or that might inspire the next iteration of those ideas.
Project Details
Some of the other projects developed to some level by the team include:
- Student Wellbeing VR - finding student lived experience stories floating in a wonderful forest landscape.
- Spanish Augmented Reality Map - allows students to explore the regions.
- Museum of Human Disease - explore the museum and its exhibits virtually.
- Electrical Safety - see how electricity flows through the body and the damage it can cause.
- Beam Deflection Sim - students can do a structures scenario in a 3D lab.
- Drone Regulations - the 3D interactive model of the Sydney airspace helps explain the drone flight restrictions.
- Language Spawner - if you can say the target words correctly you are rewarded with lots of spawned items.
- The Puppy - a papercraft puppy wants help using the target language - can you make them happy?
- Doctor VR - can you revive your virtual patient in this simulation including CPR.
