Users can log into Moodle to access their Moodle course content. Moodle is commonly logged into via the UNSW account and password. It can take up to 48 hours before new UNSW accounts become available to log in.
Log in to Moodle
Users can log in to Moodle via the 'Agree and sign on to Moodle' button when opening Moodle. UNSW Single Sign-On allows for faster sign-on when already logged into other applications.
Prior to Sign On, all users need to agree to the set terms and conditions.
Click 'Get Started' to view the step-by-step guide.
Access a Moodle Course
After sign-on, enrolled courses can be opened via the Moodle dashboard.
If having trouble accessing a course, visit Moodle Dashboard to learn about customising the dashboard, or click on the magnifying glass icon at the top navigation bar to search for the course. Moodle Administrators may need to use the search bar when finding courses.
Log out of Moodle
When leaving Moodle, users can log out via the log out button.
Click 'Get Started' to view the step-by-step guide.

Please contact UNSW IT for assistance.
I cannot see my course in Moodle.
Enrolments are managed within systems such as myUNSW and may take up to 48 hours to process and update into Moodle.
Users should be able to view their enrolments within myUNSW if they wish to confirm before it is updated into Moodle.
I cannot see a student in my course anymore.
Students can unenroll from courses in myUNSW. The consequences of leaving a course depend on the enrolment deadlines they leave by.
When students un-enrol from a course, they will:
1. Lose visibility of the course in their Moodle course listing
2. Be removed from groups
3. Lose access to the Moodle course
Existing student data will be kept in the course for historical archiving and record-keeping purposes.
