Description
Turnitin is a web application for comparing text in a student assignment against a number of databases. It has a number of advantages;
- Prevents plagiarism by matching student submissions against collections of academic works in databases.
- Empowers academics to address contract cheating and verify authorship of submitted assignments.
- Enables markers to provide grade and feedback on submitted assignment without leaving the web interface.
Turnitin integrates with various Learning Management System via Learning Tools Interoperability® (LTI®).
