myExperience Question Bank

The myExperience Question Bank includes two sets of questions - course questions and teacher questions. An additional question can be selected from these sets and added to the standard myExperience survey.

Course convenors are able to add one additional course question to the standard questions. Teachers are able to add one additional teacher question to the standard questions.

Questions in the question bank are derived from the original CATEI question bank. Obvious duplicates were removed (e.g. the aims of this course were met / the aims of the course were met) and all tenses changed to past tense. The questions have been arranged into themes to allow course convenors and teachers to easily select the question most relevant to them.

Adding to the Question Bank

You can make a request for an additional questions be added to the Survey Question Data Bank. Requests must be endorsed by the Head of School or Dean's nominee. Email the request, containing the text of the question/s and a short explanation as to why you feel the question is necessary, to the myExperience team at: [email protected].

Additions to the myExperience Question Bank must be approved by the Pro Vice-Chancellor (Education & Student Experience).

Please read the questions in the Question Bank before you submit a request, as questions which are very similar to existing questions are unlikely to be approved. Questions cannot be only applicable to a specific course or field of study.
